NPFL: Odigie linked with Akwa United coaching job

Monday Odigie has been linked with the vacant technical adviser position at Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Akwa United.

According to reports, Odigie held talks with the Promise Keepers on Friday.

The former Bendel Insurance tactician is in contention for the job alongside Kennedy Boboye.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Akwa United interviewed Kennedy Boboye last week.

Akwa United are currently in the hunt for a coach following the resignation of Mohammed Babaganaru.

The Uyo-based club are expected to make a final decision on their preferred option before the commencement of the second half of the season.
