NPFL: Niger Tornadoes will overcome Rangers in Minna – Okoro

Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Victor Okoro is optimistic his team will secure maximum points against holders Rangers.

The Ikon Allah Boys will entertain Rangers in a matchday 19 encounter at the Bako Kontagaro Stadium, Minna on Sunday.

Tornadoes lost 2-1 away to Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium last weekend.

Okoro said they are determined to return to winning ways.

“Yes, we’re ready and prepared to get back to winning ways with a victory against a tough side like Rangers,” he told the club’s media.

“We know that they’re one of the best ball-playing sides in the league, but we are playing at home and in front of our supporters, which will give us a big advantage going into the game.

“We will work hard to secure the maximum points at the end of the game, so it’s an important game for us.”
