NPFL: Shooting Stars must beat Kwara United – Ogunbote

Shooting Stars’ technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote said the team’s goal is to finish strong in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Oluyole Warriors currently occupy third place on the NPFL table with 30 points.

Shooting Stars will lock horns with Kwara United in the final match of the first stanza on Sunday.

The encounter will take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

Ogunbote expressed optimism that his side will be good enough to secure another win.

“It is another game; every game is important, and like I always say, our aim is to finish strong this season. To achieve that, positive results from every game are important,” Ogunbote stated in a pre-match interview.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Shooting Stars finished in fourth place last season.
