IDF completes raid on northern Gaza hospital, arrests 240 terror suspects

The Israel Defense Forces, IDF, announced the conclusion of a raid at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, reporting the arrest of approximately 240 terror suspects during the operation.

The IDF stated that the operation targeted Hamas operatives who were using the hospital and surrounding area as a base for terrorist activities. Weapons were also reportedly seized, including firearms, explosives, and other military equipment.

“The operation successfully neutralized a significant threat and disrupted Hamas infrastructure in the region,” an IDF spokesperson said.

The raid follows intense military activity in northern Gaza, including ongoing airstrikes and ground operations aimed at dismantling Hamas strongholds.

Earlier, the IDF reported intercepting two long-range rockets launched from Gaza toward the Jerusalem area. The rockets were shot down before reaching their targets, preventing casualties and damage.

Additionally, Israeli forces launched a new ground incursion into Beit Hanoun, a northern Gaza neighbourhood, as part of broader efforts to root out Hamas operatives.
