NNL set resumption date after Christmas break

The Nigeria National League, NNL, has announced that the 2024-25 season will resume from this Christmas break on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

The league was paused for the Christmas and New Year break after three weeks of action.

The NNL chairman, George Aluo, said that all is set for the resumption of the league.

“We are going to maintain best standards in the league and ensure we have a worthy champion at the end of the season,” Aluo stated to the NNL media.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Abia Comets led the pack in Conference A with 7 points at the break, while debutants Kun-Khalifat recorded three wins in the three games played so far to stay on top of Conference B.

In Conference C, Wikki Tourists are in front with 7 points as Basira FC are in front of others in Conference D.
