Remo Stars assistant coach Sulaiman Kamil has commended Tochukwu Micheal for his superb strike in the 2-1 win over Akwa United.
Tochukwu scored the winning goal from a set piece to give Remo Stars the maximum points in the game.
Ibrahim Shuiab opened the scoring for Remo Stars, while Osoba Kabir netted the equaliser for Akwa United.
“The goal by Tochukwu Micheal was a very brilliant goal,” Kamil told Remo Stars media.
“We needed a goal at that moment and the free kick from Tochukwu helped us to the win.
“He told me on the eve of the game that he needed to practice free kick that he will score from one in the game which he made happen that shows the quality he has in him.”
Remo Stars remain top of the log with 36 points.
