NPFL: Ideye debuts in Enyimba’s draw vs Bendel Insurance

Brown Ideye made his Enyimba debut in the People’s Elephant 0-0 draw against Bendel Insurance in Aba on Tuesday night.

The former Super Eagles forward was unveiled by the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, on Monday.

Ideye replaced Ifeanyi Ihemekwele six minutes before the break.

The 36-year-old came close to scoring for the Aba giants in the closing stages of the keenly contested encounter.

The People’s Elephant have now failed to record a win in their last 10 games across all competitions.

Stanley Eguma’s side moved from 11th to ninth position on the table.
