LaLiga: Barcelona release new statement on two players amid registration chaos

Barcelona on Tuesday issued a new statement about the current situation regarding their bid to register both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in time to play in the second half of the current season.

The Blaugrana are hoping to solve the registration issue by selling off VIP boxes and are reportedly waiting for La Liga approval.

Olmo joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in 2024, while Victor was promoted to the club’s first team.

“Barcelona informs that it has applied for a new license for the players Daniel Olmo and Pau Víctor to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF),” Barcelona’s statement read.

“Club would like to deny having requested or receiving any moratorium from any governing body for these inscriptions.”
