Championship: Maja nets brace in West Brom’s home win

Josh Maja ended his eight-game goal drought as West Bromwich Albion strolled past Preston 3-1 in their Sky Bet Championship fixture.

Maja bagged a brace in the encounter, with Callum Styles scoring the other goal.

The striker scored the curtain-raiser in the 18th minute following an assist from Mikey Johnston.

The Nigerian netted his second five minutes before the break.

He has now scored 12 goals in 25 league appearances for the Baggies this season.

West Brom moved to fifth position on the table following the win.
