Transfer: Rashford to join Lionel Messi in MLS

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, will likely join Lionel Messi in the Major League Soccer, MLS.

This will happen only if the England international makes his intention of moving to the USA known.

It seems Rashford is not in the plans of the new manager, Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford, leading to speculation about his exit from the club.

GiveMeSport reports that a number of clubs in the Major League are circling for an opportunity to sign Rashford from Manchester United.

The clubs are waiting to receive a green light from the Englishman on his willingness to move to America before making any definitive moves for him.

Rashford netted his first goal of Amorim’s reign seconds into his first game at Ipswich Town and was tipped to play a huge role for the Portuguese tactician.

Since that game, the 27-year-old has, however, not appeared in any of the side’s games.

He was recalled for the game against Newcastle United on December 30 but did not make it off the bench in the defeat.
