EPL: Arsenal suffer fresh blow ahead Brighton clash

Arsenal have suffered a fresh blow ahead of their Premier League tie with Brighton on Saturday.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be without defender Jurrien Timber due to suspension.

Timber picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Brentford on Wednesday night.

The Dutchman was booked in the 17th minute of Arsenal’s Premier League 3-1 win at the Gtech Community Stadium.

As a result of the yellow card, he will now be forced to miss out against the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium through a one-match suspension.

Arsenal is currently second in the Premier League table with 39 points from 19 matches.
