Transfer: He’s off to Real Madrid – Troy Deeney on Liverpool star

Watford legend, Troy Deeney, has predicted that Liverpool right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool for Real Madrid.

Deeney urged the Reds fans to enjoy the Englishman’s performance as much as they can this season because he is off to Spain at the end of the season.

The former striker wrote in his Premier League Team of the Week column that the England defender was excellent against West Ham United and Liverpool are reaping rewards for his form.

Alexander-Arnold’s current deal at Anfield will expire in June and the 26-year-old has made it clear he won’t sign a new deal.

“We’re going to have to keep putting him in the team when he keeps delivering like this. Liverpool are flying and playing unbelievably well,” he wrote.

“It looks like he is off to Real Madrid so for the rest of us, enjoy it over these next four or five months because, when he’s playing like he did against West Ham, it’s excellent to see.”

The England international has scored once in 17 league games this season while assisting four times.
