President Tinubu arrives Enugu, commissions multiple projects

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday visited Enugu State where he commissioned multiple projects.

This is his first official trip to the state since assuming office on May 29, 2023.

He was accompanied by top dignitaries, including the Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.

He arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, in the afternoon from where he proceeded to various locations within the State capital.

In the Coal City State, Tinubu inaugurated some projects embarked upon by the Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah-led administration.

Tinubu inaugurated smart green schools, rural roads, and 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras, equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state.

Others are the completed multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.
