EPL: ‘Who are you’ – Souness slams Man Utd star

Liverpool legend, Graeme Souness has hit out at Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, labelling him as a ‘wrong’un’ on the pitch of play.

Souness also questioned the Argentina international and said he has no chance of succeeding under current Man United manager Ruben Amorim if he doesn’t change his attitude.

Garnacho started Man United’s first two games under Amorim.

He also scored in their Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt last November.

However, Garnacho has fallen out of favour in recent weeks.

Garnacho, alongside Marcus Rashford, was left out of the squad for the Manchester derby.

He has since returned to the squad but has been mostly used off the bench.

“I spoke last week about the example Bruno Fernandes sets and I hear about Alejandro Garnacho being unhappy with the manager. Can someone remind me of just who he is?,” Souness wrote in his Daily Mail column.

“The last time I looked he was only a 20-year-old boy. One who is only one step up, on a ten-rung ladder. Who are you?

“He acts like a ‘wrong ‘un’ on the football pitch and, unless he changes, he’s got no chance of fulfilling what obvious potential he has.”
