NPFL: Enyimba set target for season after difficult spell

Enyimba team manager Okey Nwabeke has revealed the team’s target following their recent struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Nwabeke says that a top-three finish is the minimum expectation from the team in this campaign.

The nine-time NPFL champions are without a win in seven matches in the league.

Enyimba currently occupy ninth position on the NPFL table with 24 points.

“The Chairman, Nwankwo Kanu, has made it clear: ‘It’s either you win the league title or secure a continental ticket—nothing less,” Okey Nwabeke told Complete Sports.

“So, we’re working hard to achieve that goal. We have three outstanding matches, and we are focused on securing nine points from those games.”
