Chelsea hero, John Mikel Obi has reiterated the need for his former club to sign a quality striker.
Enzo Maresca’s side started the season on a good note but have stumbled in recent outings.
The Blues have failed to record a win in their last four Premier League games.
The London club currently occupy fourth position on the table and face a difficult fight in their bid to secure a top four spot.
Mikel insisted that Chelsea need an striker to deliver the goods for them.
“We are creating chances, we are still playing well, we are still doing the right things but we’re not clinical enough, we’re not scoring goals,” Mikel said on Obi one podcast.
“We’ve talked about getting another top, top striker who can win us these kinds of games, difficult games where if Nicolas Jackson is not firing on all cylinders you can give him a rest and then get someone else to come into the team and try to win us games and score goals.”
