Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems nominated for 2025 NAACP Awards

Nigerian music stars, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have been nominated for the 2025 NAACP Awards.

Other Nigerian stars honored at this year’s award include Actress Ayo Edebiri.

The 56th edition of the NAACP Awards event which is scheduled for February 22, will be held at the Pasadena Civic Centre, California.

Wizkid who bagged two nominations for his song ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz, include Outstanding Duo or Collaboration and Outstanding International Song.

Burna Boy and Usher were nominated for Best Collaboration for their song ‘Coming Home’. While Tems ‘Love Me JeJe’ secured her nomination for the ‘Outstanding International Song’ category for her song ‘Love Me JeJe’.

Actress Ayo Edebiri was nominated in five categories including Outstanding Voiceover, and Outstanding Actress in Comedy Series.

While South Africa singer, Tyla is up for Outstanding New Artist.
