EPL: I’m delighted – Graham Potter reacts after landing new managerial job

Former Chelsea coach, Graham Potter, has expressed happiness after landing a new managerial job.

Potter was officially appointed as the new manager of Premier League club West Ham United on Thursday.

The 49-year-old replaced Julen Lopetegui, who was recently sacked.

The Englishman joins the Hammers on a two-and-a-half year contract.

He will take charge of his new team for the first time when West Ham travel to Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round on Friday evening.

“I am delighted to be here,” Potter told the club’s website.

“It was important to me that I waited until a job came along that I felt was right for me, and equally that I was the right fit for the Club I am joining.

“That is the feeling I have with West Ham United.”

Potter has coached Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Brighton in the past.

West Ham currently sit in the 14th position on the Premier League table with 23 points from 20 games.
