2027: Why Tinubu may not survive – SDP Chairman, Shehu Gabam

The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Shehu Gabam, has hinted on why President Bola Tinubu may not survive till 2027.

Gabam said previous presidents who encountered issues within the first two years of their tenure never survived a second term.

He spoke while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme yesterday.

Gabam recalled that former President Goodluck Jonathan failed because opposition started in his second year.

According to Gabam: “No president that was elected to serve four years and has issues in two years can survive.

“Jonathan’s opposition started within two years – he lost election.”

Gabam also noted that the ministers in Tinubu’s cabinet lacked the capacity to push the president’s vision.

He said Nigeria has never faced the economic hardship they are facing today.
