EPL: Rashford snubs eight clubs as he gets set to leave Man Utd

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, is set to snub eight clubs as he prepares to leave the Premier League club.

The 27-year-old is in talks with AC Milan, but the deal is likely to be an initial loan move.

Rashford’s agent flew to Italy earlier this week and negotiations have progressed well.

In potentially joining Milan, Rashford would be reunited with former United team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who now has an executive role at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri also have three players Rashford knows from the England national team: Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori.

But he would be turning down offers from other teams. This includes three from Saudi Arabia. Premier League teams Tottenham and West Ham were both said to be interested, as were Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Also in Italy, Juventus and newly-promoted Como were among the teams to be linked.

Rashford was briefly tipped to join Barcelona, but the LaLiga giants’ financial woes meant a deal wasn’t feasible.

United will be happy if the agreement with Milan is finalised quickly. The Red Devils, however, were hoping for a permanent deal and value Rashford, who earns £325,000 per week, at £40 million.
