EPL: Alexander Isak told best club to join between Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd

Former Chelsea star, Pat Nevin has told Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak the best club for him to join between Arsenal, Manchester United and the Blues.

Isak has been linked with a move away from Newcastle amid the ongoing January transfer window.

The Swedish international has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United in recent weeks.

However, Nevin believes the Gunners would be the best club for the 25-year-old to join over others.

According to him, the combination of Isak, playing in front of the likes of Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard at Arsenal, would be scary.

“I would not be surprised if Chelsea made a huge bid for Alexander Isak this January if they get any sort of hint that he is available,” Nevin told Grosvenor Sport.

“Chelsea would love him. Having said that, I think he would be the best possible fit for Arsenal and if I was him I would be looking at that.

“Style-wise and technique-wise, can you imagine him playing in front of Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard, it would be scary.

“Manchester United might also be involved if they hear that he is available, but I can’t imagine how Eddie Howe would feel about letting him go.”

Isak has scored 14 goals in his last 15 games for Newcastle to move Eddie Howe’s side to fifth in the Premier League table.
