Tyson Fury announces retirement from boxing [VIDEO]

Famous British boxer Tyson Fury has taken to social media to announce his retirement.

Fury made the announcement after his second loss to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday evening, the British boxer said: “Hi everybody, I’m going to make this short and sweet. I would like to announce my retirement from boxing.

“It’s been a blast. I have loved every single minute of it, and I am going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. See you all on the other side.”

Media Talk Africa recalls that Fury lost to Usyk in a unanimous decision in their rematch on December 21, 2024, in Saudi Arabia.

Fury had first announced his retirement after beating American boxer Steve Cunningham in 2013, but returned to the ring shortly after.
