NNL: Abia Comets battle ready for Inter Lagos – Coach Ejeh

Abia Comets head coach, Okechukwu Ejeh, says his team is battle ready for the matchday six fixture against Inter Lagos FC.

The encounter is billed for the Umuahia Township Stadium on Saturday, January 18.

Ejeh stated that the players will push to get a good result in the game. However, he is anticipating a difficult test.

“Yes, we’ll be ready and prepared for the clash against Inter Lagos this weekend,” Ejeh told Sportsregister.

“It is not going to be an easy game because Inter Lagos is a good side and always difficult to play.

“But the boys know what is at stake, so I have the confidence that we are going to put up a good performance, which will give us a good chance of securing the maximum points.”

Abia Comets currently occupy the top position in the Southern Conference Group A standings with 11 points from five games.
