CHAN 2024 draw: Home Eagles in Group D with Senegal, Sudan, Congo

The Home Eagles have been drawn in Group D of the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, alongside defending champions Senegal, Sudan, and Congo Brazzaville.

The draw ceremony took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, KICC, in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday night.

Group D is the only group with four teams, while the other three groups each have five teams.

Co-hosts Kenya, two-time champions Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia are in Group A.

Tanzania will compete in Group B with Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic.

Group C features Uganda, Niger, and Guinea, with two other teams to be added later.

The biennial competition, co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, is scheduled to take place in August.
