Serie A: Ebuehi returns to Empoli training after injury layoff

Nigeria defender Tyronne Ebuehi has returned to full training at Serie A club, Empoli, Media Talk Africa reports.

Ebuehi sustained a cruciate ligament injury during Empoli’s Serie A clash with Bologna in March 2024.

The injury forced the right-back to miss the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The 29-year-old is now in line to make his maiden appearance this season against Inter Milan on Monday.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Ebuehi joined the Blues from Benfica in 2022.

He has scored twice in 41 league appearances for Roberto D’Aversa’s side.
