Transfer: Chelsea confirm deal for Silcott-Duberry

Chelsea have confirmed that their forward, Zain Silcott-Duberry has left the club to join Premier League side, Bournemouth on a permanent transfer this January transfer window.

The Premier League west London club disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

“Zain Silcott-Duberry has completed a permanent transfer to Premier League side Bournemouth,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.

“We would like to thank Zain for all his efforts while a Chelsea player and wish him the best as he begins a new chapter in his career.”

Silcott-Duberry joined Chelsea from Norwich City as an Under-13.

The 19-year-old progressed through the Academy ranks at Cobham.

He, however, signed his first professional contract with the Blues in August 2022.

Media Talk Africa reports that this is coming ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League home clash against Wolves on Monday night.
