Scottish Cup: Dessers scores hat-trick In Rangers’ big win

Nigeria forward Cyriel Dessers grabbed a hat-trick and also registered an assist as Rangers thrashed Fraserburgh 5-0 to reach the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

It is the first time the striker has started a game for Philippe Clement’s side since the end of November.

The former Feyenoord player is now behind Hamza Igiamane and Danilo in the pecking order.

Dessers opened the scoring for Rangers after 27 minutes and got his brace in the 57th minute.

The 30-year-old assisted the fourth goal before completing his hat-trick in stoppage time.

The striker has now scored 15 goals and provided four assists for the Light Blues this season.
