US withdrawal from WHO: ‘Disruption has started’ – Shehu Sani

Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has claimed that ‘disruption’ in the United States has started under President Donald Trump.

“The disruption has started,” Sani posted on X.

The statement comes after Trump ordered the exit of the United States from the World Health Organization.

Trump gave the order a few hours after his inauguration on Monday as the 47th president of the US.

The US President claimed that the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises.

Media Talk Africa reported that Sani had earlier on Monday described Trump as a ‘disruptor‘.

Sani, in a post on his X handle on Monday, said that Trump is going to be a great challenge to the world.
