UCL: Sturm Graz coach wary of ‘dangerous’ Lookman ahead Atalanta clash

Sturm Graz head coach, Jurgen Saumel has waxed lyrical about Ademola Lookman ahead of his team’s UEFA Champions League meeting with Atalanta.

Atalanta will host the Austrians in a matchday seven fixture at the Gewiss Stadium, Bergamo on Tuesday night (today).

Lookman, Media Talk Africa reports has starred in the Champions League this season, with three goals and one assist in five outings.

The 27-year-old was named Man of the Match in Atalanta’s last fixture against holders Real Madrid.

Saumel highlighted the threat posed by the Nigeria international, who he described as a “versatile and dangerous player”.

“He [Lookman] is extremely versatile and dangerous. Bergamo always brings out top players and can then keep them, like Lookman.” he told Kurier.

Atalanta currently occupy 13th position on the standings with 11 points.

A win in tonight’s encounter will guarantee Gian Piero Gasperini’s side a place in the knockout round.
