US: Trump’s foreign policy pragmatic unlike Biden – Sam Amadi

The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has described the foreign policy of the United States, US, President, Donald Trump as pragmatic unlike that of his predecessor, Joe Biden.

Amadi described Trump’s foreign policy approach as pragmatic while Biden is ‘doctrinaire’.

He, however, said Trump may reconsider his position.

Posting on X, Amadi write: “Trump’s foreign policy approach is pragmatic unlike Biden that is doctrinaire. Trump may shift his position as he senses possibilities to achieve a strategic objective.

“Strategists are more pragmatic than doctrinaire. Objective is clear and fixed. Means can change.

“British leaders demolish their history, US leaders restore it. History is not saintly or sinful. History is history, the bad, the good, the ugly. Keep history.”

Recall that upon his inauguration as the 47th US president, Trump signed several executive; orders, including measures to suspend the refugee system, block access to an app used for facilitating entry into the US, and strengthen cooperation between ICE and local governments.

As part of this initiative, ICE agents are set to conduct nationwide operations to arrest and deport undocumented individuals.

Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, confirmed in a recent interview, noting that these efforts would begin immediately, stating that ICE officers across the country would be actively enforcing immigration laws.
