Peter Obi back with Abure – LP legal adviser Kehinde Edun

The legal adviser of the Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party, Kehinde Edun, has alleged that Mr Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, is now back and working with the embattled national chairman.

Edun stated this while fielding questions on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Wednesday.

“I believe so. He hasn’t made any categorical statement about that. He hasn’t said he has left the party.

“Yes, he’s with us, and I believe he’s speaking with Abure. That’s what I know and believe,” he said when asked if Peter Obi is now back with Abure.

Media Talk Africa reports that the Labour Party has been embroiled in a leadership crisis with Abure at the center of the controversy.
