NPFL trasnfer: Okafor moves to Lobi Stars from Rangers

Onyekachi Okafor has wrapped up his move to Lobi Stars for the second half of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign, Media Talk Africa reports.

Okafor teamed up with the Makurdi-based outfit from the reigning NPFL champions, Rangers.

The lanky striker netted 12 goals for Heartland before moving to Rangers at the start of the campaign.

The lanky forward failed to replicate his form in Enugu.

He made seven league appearances for the Flying Antelopes before the switch.

Okafor also featured in three CAF Champions League games for the club.

The 31-year-old is expected to make his debut for Daniel Amokachi’s side in their matchday 20 fixture against Heartland in Owerri on Sunday.
