Governor Zulum donates 19 Toyota Camry vehicles to judges, khadis

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has donated 19 Toyota Camry vehicles, 2024 models, to Judges and Khadis in the state as part of his administration’s efforts to enhance the judiciary.

The keys to the vehicles were handed over to the state Attorney General during a brief ceremony at the Government House on Friday evening.

Representing the governor, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Babagana Mallumbe, presented the vehicles to the Commissioner for Justice, Hauwa Abubakar, for onward delivery to the beneficiaries.

“As directed by His Excellency, it is my honour and privilege to hand over these vehicles to you on behalf of the state government,” Mallumbe said.

He emphasized that the donation demonstrates Governor Zulum’s unwavering support for the judiciary and his commitment to ensuring access to justice for all citizens.

“This donation is part of our efforts to enhance the judicial sector and ensure that our citizens have access to justice as we continue to recover from 16 years of insurgency,” Mallumbe added.

In her response, the Commissioner for Justice, Hauwa Abubakar, expressed gratitude to Governor Zulum for his dedication to good governance and the justice system.
