Transfer: Flying Eagles star, Daga joins Molde FK

Norwegian Eliteserien outfit, Molde FK have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder, Daniel Daga.

Daga linked up with the Blue and White from Nigeria National League, NNL, club FC One Rocket.

The 18-year-old already has top-flight experience having spent last season on loan at two-time African champions, Enyimba.

The youngster was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad to the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Molde’s Chief Executive Officer
Øystein Neerland is delighted with the playmaker’s arrival at the club.

“We are very happy to bring in an exciting and talented player from Nigeria,” Neerland told the club’s official website.

“Daniel already has experience from the top division there, and he is considered a great talent. We look forward to following his development here in Molde and helping him take new steps in his career.”

Daga is expected to be part of Molde’s squad for the friendly against Træff at the Aker Stadion next week Tuesday.
