NPFL: Heartland fortify squad with nine new players

Heartland have announced the signing of nine new players for the second stanza of the season.

The Naze Millionaires announced the players’ arrival on Sunday.

The new players are Daniel Ekpo, Stephen Ezeamaiwe, Kenneth Ache, Isaac Nassy, Samuel Agu, Terdoo Shimagande, John Bassey, Joel Okoro and Anthony Omaka.

Okoro and Shimagande moved from Nasarawa United, Ekpo joined from Abia Warriors, Ezeamaiwe teamed up from Bendel Insurance and Nassy signed from second tier club Doma United.

Others are Agu, who moved from Akwa United, Bassy joined from Bayelsa United, Omaka moved from Beninoise side ASVO FC while Ache was promoted from Heartland feeders.

Heartland will lock horns with Lobi Stars in a matchday 20 encounter on Sunday (today).
