Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo believes that his team will continue to improve after their second stanza opening fixture against Bayelsa United.
Sunday Megwo’s goal gave Abia Warriors a 1-0 win over the visitors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Amapakabo said that his team will fight to replicate same performance in subsequent games.
“We just want to win which is the most important thing for my team, as you can see victory is paramount in the game against Bayelsa United,” Amakpakabo told Abia Warriors media.
“We will look at the things we did wrong in this game against Bayelsa United and improve upon our subsequent games.
“It’s just one game of the 19 matches we have played and I think we are going to get better.”
