Speed Darlington cuts ties with his lawyer, Stan Alieke

Stan Alieke, the lawyer to the embattled singer, Speed Darlington has cut ties with him.

Alieke announced his firm, Law Capitol separation from the singer in a recent post on his Instagram story.

He wrote, “I and my law firm (Law Capitol) have officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi and cease to act as his legal attorneys.”

The announcement happened barely a week after the release of Darlington from prolonged detention in Kuje prison.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the singer had spent two months in detention following allegations of cyberstalking Burna Boy.

Reacting to his continued detention, his lawyer accused Burna of paying the police to keep his clients behind bars.
