You want to unseat Tinubu’s govt – Bwala tackles El-Rufai over APC criticism

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communications, Daniel Bwala, has accused former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, of wanting to unseat the current government.

Bwala said El-Rufai participated in the formation of the current government but now wants to unseat it.

The statement comes after the ex-governor took a swipe at his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, accusing it of abandoning its founding principles and fostering poor leadership.

El-Rufai also described the state of governance and opposition in the country as a “national emergency”.

However, in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, Bwala questioned if El-Rufai would have expressed the same position if he were in the government.

“My Senior brother, if you were to be in the government and cabinet, would you have held and expressed the same position?

“History is replete with examples. It is a government you participated in its formation, that you now want to unseat,” Bwala posted on X.
