La Liga: Adams keen on making history at Sevilla

Nigeria forward, Jerome Adams is determined to make a mark at La Liga club, Sevilla.

Adams was unveiled by Sevilla on Tuesday, after completing his move from Ligue 1 club, Montpellier.

The Nigerian spent one-and-half seasons at Montpellier.

The 25-year-old scored three goals and registered one assist for La Paillade before completing the switch.

Adams watched Sevilla draw with Espanyol after signing his contract and declared his intention to shine at the club.

“There is a lot of history at this club and I am here to be part of this history and also to try to write my own” he told the club’s official website.

“Both my family and I are very happy. It has been a great welcome and for me, it is a great (25th) birthday present.”
