UCL: Tella celebrates maiden goal for Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen winger, Nathan Tella has celebrated his maiden UEFA Champions League goal.

The Nigeria international scored in the 64th minute of Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-0 victory over Sparta Prague on Wednesday night.

It was a remarkable achievement for Tella, who two years ago was playing in the second tier league in England.

Tella expressed his delight with a short message on social media accompanied by a picture.

“Dreams come true,” the former Burnley winger wrote on X after the home win.

Xabi Alonso’s side qualified for the Round of 16 of the competition following the comfortable win.
