EPL: Man Utd’s move for Tel rests on Rashford leaving for Aston Villa

Manchester United could move for Bayern Munich forward, Mathys Tel, once they have finalised a deal for Marcus Rashford’s departure to Premier League club Aston Villa, Sky Sports reports.

Recall that Rashford is all set to leave Man United for Aston Villa, who are leading the race to sign the England international.

However, the Red Devils have made their interest known to Bayern Munich over the possibility of signing Tel on loan.

Tel is one of a number of targets the United are looking at this winter transfer window.

The 19-year-old is said to be open to the move to Old Trafford, after rejecting the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Tel was not even included in the Bayern Munich squad that defeated Holstein Kiel on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has already advised manager Ruben Amorim against signing Tel.

Ferdinand, however, insisted that Amorim should instead sign an experience goalscorer over the French youngster.
