NPFL: Shooting Stars stay unbeaten, Rivers United falter again

Shooting Stars extended their unbeaten run to seven games after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Plateau United in Jos on Sunday.
New signing Tijani Kabiru put the Oluyole Warriors in front with a thunderous shot in the 74th minute.

It was Kabiru’s second goal in two league games for Shooting Stars.

Plateau United levelled two minutes later through Albert Hilary.

At the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Rivers United suffered a setback in their title push, going down to a 2-0 defeat against Heartland.

Christian Molokwu and Joel Okoro were the scorers for Heartland in the game.
