Transfer deadline day: Chukwueze in shock move to EPL

Fulham have approached AC Milan in a bid to sign Samuel Chukwueze.

The Premier League club have made the move with just a few hours left in the transfer window.

Both clubs are now in negotiations to see if they can agree on a deal within a short time.

This was confirmed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Monday night.

Romano wrote on X: “Understand Fulham have approached AC Milan to sign Samuel Chukwueze.

“Negotiations ongoing between all parties involved with short time to make it happen.”

If Chukwueze does make the move to Fulham, he will line up alongside two of his Super Eagles team-mates, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.

Chukwueze has barely featured under new manager Sergio Conceicao, but he has failed to make an impact.

The Nigerian winger was also criticised for his role in Inter Milan’s late equaliser on Sunday night.

Considering the Rossoneri have already agreed a deal with Napoli for Noah Okafor, whether they will proceed with the move is yet to be seen.
