Police remain resolute in crime fighting – AIG Muhamed Bala

Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 6 Calabar, AIG Mustapha Muhamed Bala, has stated that the Nigeria Police Force will be resolute in its constitutional role of fighting crime in the country.

Speaking when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State, Bala emphasized that during his tenure, he would remain determined and resolute in his mandate to combat violent crimes and criminality.

He enjoined the people of the state to cooperate with the police by providing credible, verified, and actionable intelligence.

In a statement signed by ASP Edim Obazi, Zone Six Command PRO, the AIG commended Governor Otu for the executive will he has demonstrated in supporting the police to curtail crime.

It should be noted that the resurgence of crime in parts of the state has been halted since the renewed determination by the police to rid the state of criminal activities.

Governor Otu welcomed Bala to the state, assuring the police boss of his continued support for the police and other security agencies to maintain the serenity the state is known for.
