Governor Sule visits Afo communities for crisis assessment

Governor Abdullahi Sule on Tuesday, visited Afo-speaking communities in Udege Mbeki, Odu, and Mararaba Udege in Nasarawa Local Government Area to assess the damage caused by a recent intra-ethnic crisis.

The visit allowed the governor to evaluate the level of destruction firsthand and interact with affected residents.

Calling for calm, Governor Sule reassured the victims of the state government’s support in addressing their losses and restoring peace to the communities.

Before touring the affected areas, the governor paid a royal homage to the Osu Ajiri, HRH Alhaji Usman Halilu, at his palace in Udege.

The governor stated his administration’s commitment to peace building and conflict resolution, urging community leaders and residents to embrace dialogue to prevent further escalation.
