FA Cup: Van Nistelrooy declares Ndidi fit for Manchester United clash

Wilfred Ndidi is in contention to face Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup this weekend, according to Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The Foxes will be guests of Manchester United in a fourth round tie at the Old Trafford on Friday night.

Ndidi has been sidelined since sustaining a muscle injury in Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion last December.

The midfielder recently returned to training and is now ready for action again.

“Wilf is fine,” van Nistelrooy was quoted by the club’s official website.

“He had a great week of training, last week and this week. He’ll be part of the squad tomorrow.”
