Nigeria defender, Semi Ajayi is close to a return to full action after spending around four months on the sidelines due to injury.
Ajayi sustained a hamstring injury in the second half of the Baggies’ Sky Bet Championship clash with Cardiff City last October.
The centre-back went under the knife few days later but has now recover from the injury.
Ajayi will feature for the Baggies’ U-21 in a friendly on Monday night against Newcastle United as he steps up his comeback.
That will also put him in contention for a first team return in the coming weeks.
The 31-year-old has made 12 league appearances for Albion this season.
