La Liga: Toni Kroos reveals funny details of his relationship with Modric

Former Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos, has opened up about his relationship with former teammate Luka Modric.

The German said what was important to them was the understanding they had on the field of play, adding that they did not talk much with each other.

Kroos has retired from playing football last summer as Media Talk Africa reported earlier.

He spent a decade playing alongside Modric at Real Madrid, making 465 appearances and contributing 28 goals and 99 assists.

The former Germany International formed an excellent modfield partnership with the Croatia International, winning five UEFA Champions League trophies together.

In a new documentary on Prime Video, both Los Blancos legends spoke about their relationship.

Modric said, “We have a very special relationship. We’ve been playing together for 10 years.

Kroos added, “We didn’t need to talk that much, that was funny. Most of the time we would understand each other, because the good players understand the game and understand what’s important.”
