NPFL: Kwara United end Shooting Stars’ unbeaten run

Shooting Stars lost for the first time in nine league outings after falling to a 2-0 defeat against Kwara United in Ilorin on Wednesday.

Kabiru Muhammed and Ojifinni Abdullahi scored the goals for Kwara United.

Shooting Stars remain in second position on the table despite the defeat, eight points adrift of leaders Remo Stars.

Kwara United moved up to eighth position with 32 points from 23 games.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Bendel Insurance defeated Enyimba 1-0.

Enyimba were reduced to 10 men after Innocent Gabriel was sent off for a rash tackle on Kayode Oke in the 22nd minute.

Oke netted the winning goal in the 55th minute.
