Ligue 1: Moffi returns to training after seven-month absence

Nigeria forward, Terem Moffi, has returned to full training at Ligue 1 club OGC Nice following a lengthy injury layoff.

Moffi sustained a cruciate ligament injury during pre-season, which sidelined him for around seven months.

The Nigerian is expected to be eased back into action gradually by the club.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the 25-year-old last featured for Nice in a Ligue 1 clash against Lille last May.

The forward’s last competitive game was Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic on June 10, 2024.

He was in action for 51 minutes in the encounter, with the Super Eagles going down to a 2-1 defeat.

Moffi racked up 11 goals and two assists in 30 league appearances for Nice last season.
